The first phase of Shrapnel Early Access, called Shrapnel Training Practices (STX), will launch in January 2024. STX is an exclusive Early Access gameplay event available to players who own the Extraction pack.

1. How is Early Access structured and how long does it last?

Early Access ticket holders can enter the Sacrifice Zone during STX in January 2024 to chase exclusive weapon skins, collect gear and more, and complete missions to earn all the rewards. These events are only available for a limited time during this period. Detailed information and date/schedule will be announced later through a separate FAQ. As we get closer to our full free-to-play launch, we'll be moving into a second phase of Early Access. The second tier is Early Access, which is always available to Extraction pack holders. The second phase is scheduled to begin in late March/April 2024 and is likely to last until December 2024.

2. Are STX rewards part of the notation rewards for Extraction packs?

No, STX Rewards are separate! The infographic below shows the Extraction Pack content available during Permanent Early Access.

This means that Extraction pack holders who participate in STX will receive rewards from both. The Extraction pack gives you access to STX. However, certain rewards can only be obtained with higher tier Extraction packs during the STX period.
